SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – February 24, 2012 – At long last the 21st Amendment Brewery is bringing their award-winning brews to bars and stores throughout the state capitol and beyond. The launch will take place just in time for Sacramento Beer Week, which begins today Friday, February 24.
Co-founders Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan have been itching to be a part of the exploding craft beer scene in Sacramento, Tahoe, Chico, Stockton and Ukiah. “Northern California is our home territory, and adding the Sacramento market has been a long time coming.” said Freccia. “Sacramento has a sophisticated craft beer scene and it was very important to us to be able to do it right when we launched, with the right partners and the right sales team, so we could really provide the service that Sacramento deserves.”
The 21A has added a beer loving, can slinging sales guy, Quinn Gardner, to head up the campaign across Sacramento. “I’m excited about teaming up with our distributor, DBI, to bring our beers to my home market,” says Quinn.
Adds Brewmaster O’Sullivan, “I’ve been coming out to Sacramento for sometime now and enjoying great craft beer from my fellow brewers and for me personally it’s awesome to be in their company. And canned craft beer in Tahoe? See you on the slopes good beer people!”
About 21st Amendment Brewery
Hey, we’re Nico & Shaun and we live for great beer. To us, the 21st Amendment means much more than just an end to Prohibition. It means the right to brew beer, the freedom to be innovative, and the obligation to have fun. When we opened the 21st Amendment Brewpub in San Francisco ten years ago in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, we vowed to do things differently or not do them at all.
