“We want beer!” rang the chants through the streets of America 78 years ago today. And to celebrate the right to drink beer, San Francisco’s 21st Amendment Brewery is introducing their award-winning brews to the Tarheel State for the very first time.
Starting on Monday, December 5, 21st Amendment will be available throughout Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill in cans and on draft at better bars and stores. Distribution will be handled by Tryon Distributing of Charlotte.
Today’s tastings will take place at establishments listed at the end of this press release.
Co-founder Nico Freccia said, “With the anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition, we thought, what better way to celebrate with North Carolinians than by bringing them a few six-packs of our beer?”
“North Carolina has an awesome craft beer scene and one of the best in the country,” says co-founder and Brewmaster Shaun O’Sullivan. “Nico and I are looking forward to bringing our tasty canned craft beers to North Carolina…Road trip!"
Craft beer in a can? Why not? Cans keep beer fresher, they’re better for the environment, and they’re easier to take with you. 21st Amendment’s canned brews, available in six-packs, include:
