General Details on this Teaming Opportunity
On or about 18 May 2012, this office will issue Invitations for Bid for construction of the Fort Randall Cultural Sites, Lake Francis Case, South Dakota. The solicitation will close on or about 19 June 2012. This project calls for bank stabilization to be implemented at 3 sites in Lyman County, SD adjacent to Lake Francis Case. All three sites call for peaked stone revetments. In total, the project will require approximately 16,000 tons of stone, 3,800 sy of geotextile, and some minor grading. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $750,000 and $1,000,000. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bonding documents including the power of attorney shall bear an original signature by an officer of the surety.
