General Details on this Teaming Opportunity
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue a request for Proposal (RFP) for Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contracts to construct, remove, replace, or repair livestock fence and associated gates, panels, and drainage crossings. This work will be performed throughout the state of New Mexico. Typical work includes, but is not limited to: constructing 4-strand barbed wire fences with top and intermediate wires barbed and bottom wire barbless. Total fence wire height would be 42 inches with line t-post spacing of up to 16 ft. 6 inches. Types of posts include steel and angle iron. Work may also involve removal and disposal of existing fence. Projects may be in remote areas with difficult access and limited services. Some fences may be built in sandy soils while other will be constructed in rock such as limestone. In rock formations which prevent steel posts or pipe from being driven, a rock drill will be required at these work sites to assure proper installation of steel posts and/or pipe. This work will require the Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, and supplies, except for specified Government-Furnished Property.
