Ambler, PA. Addicted 2 Dance (A2D), the premier dance studio in Ambler, today announced plans to give back during the month of December with two community-based initiatives.
First, A2D is collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Mattie N. Dixon Food Cupboard in Ambler. The Dixon Food Cupboard offers a host of services to assist struggling members of the community and strives to adhere to its mission statement of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." Donations from A2D will support families in need through the holiday season.
In addition, A2D is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Toys for Toys is a nationwide program conducted in over 500 communities in all 5 states. Toys collected are distributed to less fortunate members of the community for the holiday season.
"Addicted 2 Dance is passionate about helping those less fortunate in Ambler and throughout our community," said A2D co-owner Deirdre Lindsay. "We do as much as possible to make sure everyone has an enjoyable holiday season."
As an added incentive, families that make donations will be entered to win a piece of merchandise by Sugar and Bruno. Top dance brands like Sugar and Bruno are on sale at Bella's Dance Shop located inside Addicted 2 Dance.
Food items and toys will be collected through December 21 and can be dropped off at the Addicted 2 Dance Studio at 15 Cavalier Drive in Ambler.
