Day Three Update: Squishing Bugs and Taking Names

This is where we're at

The new platform has been running for three days now and we're starting to see the light at the end of the relaunch tunnel.

First off, thank you all for your patience and understanding as we work through the unforseen issues. It's a difficult task to simulate everything our 45,000+ users may encounter prior to giving them access. Even beta testing didn't bring to light some of the problems we've seen.

That said, I'm proud of the way our (small) team has responded and how things are shaping up.

We know each of you rely heavily on PitchEngine - some of you on a daily basis - and that it's critical we get everything back up to speed and beyond as quickly as possible.

Why a new PitchEngine? We've got big plans and I'll share more about the features and functionality you can expect very soon. For now, here's what we're tackling.

A few items being fixed today and pushed live tonight:

- AutoSave conflicts when adding Quick Facts, Tags, etc.,
(Some of you experienced dissapearing text or duplicates)

- RSS Feeds (we'll have reverse functionality so that old links will work again)

- Agency RSS feeds (Friday)

- Newsrooms Custom Colors

- Continuing to import pitches that didn't make it onto the new platform (Please let us know if there are any missing pitches that are a priority)

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
