Produced especially for light fixture designers, Light Plugzr (LP) is a four-series product line that incorporates intelligent thermal sensing technology, advanced custom optics, improved heat tolerance and a selection of interchangeable heat sinks to suit unique applications. The Bi-Pin series is ideal for low voltage retrofitting and sustainability in lighting.

These Light Plugzr feature a single chip per engine and are designed to run cooler, offer higher lumen output, and provide greater efficiency with a smaller footprint than the original version. The bi-pin configurations offered are the standard GU5.3 clippable base or G4-sized bi-pins with a flush base. The Plugz housing is threaded for compatibility with American Illumination's many original design heat sinks, thus contributing to their versatility in retrofit and unique indoor or outdoor lighting applications.
American Illumination has also enhanced the Light Plugzr line with custom optics available from 10 to 80 degrees. Optics can be swapped for uniquely designed decorative lenses that create an omnidirectional glow and bulb-like aesthetic.
