James Junglen, a project engineer for Armstrong Builders, has received his Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The CGP designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who make sustainable building practices a priority in their projects without increasing construction costs.

“We’re proud of James for achieving this certification,” said James Keller, president of Armstrong Builders. “As a company, we are committed to sustainable construction and this is further demonstrated by our growing staff of green professionals

In addition to Junglen’s green certification, Armstrong Builders has five Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professionals on staff. The company’s dedication to building green and affordably has been recognized through numerous awards within the past year, including Green Builder Home of the Year, EcoHome Design Award, Dream Home Award, and NAHB’s Energy Value Housing Award.
