About Turner's Body Shop
35 years ago Eddie Miller's car was damaged and he went to in an old ESSO station on Main Street for repairs, but they didn't have time to fix it--so they showed him how to do it on his own--and the rest is history. Eddie started working there, and right away earned a reputation for excellent work. In 1996 he bought the shop, and in 1997 met his future wife, Michelle. Eventually, Michelle joined Eddie at the shop, and in 2005, they started working with Management Success to improve the workflow and marketing of the shop, and ultimately decided to build a new place. They built a beautiful 7000 sq foot, state of the art shop 3 years ago, with a lovely waiting room--lounge area with snacks, drinks, plasma TV, and toys for the little ones. The staff all competed I-Car Gold Certification and SP-2 Safety & Pollution training over the past year. The shop will be implementing waterborne paint in the near future and currently use Standox Premium European paint line. They also added a full service Precision Detail Center at the new location. Each production job looks beautiful when released to the customer, with follow-up on the vehicle between visits. With a procedure in place to identify each vehicle, insurance company, tech & painter working on it, including customer requests for minor buffing, chips and touch up, they have created a consistent service experience and the customer sees that their requests and insurance jobs are taken seriously. Several years ago, they implemented gift bags at release of the vehicle. These include a loaf of fresh baked bread, a large reuseable Turner's Body Shop shopping bag, fliers for upcoming events, and a pen with contact information.
