Bailey Lauerman President to Judge Effie Award Competition

Lincoln, Neb. - Carter Weitz, president and chief creative officer at Bailey Lauerman, has been selected to judge the final round of the prestigious 2011 Effie Award national competition in New York City.

Each year the Effie Awards honor "Ideas that Work;" all forms of marketing communication that contribute to a brand's success. In addition to creativity, Effie Awards are determined by the entry's effectiveness in driving results. Awards are presented in three levels, gold, silver and bronze.

"Effie Awards are a global symbol of achievement, and I'm very honored to have been asked to help judge the finalists in this year's awards," said Weitz. "I look forward to the experience and the opportunity to `rub elbows' with other judges from across the country."

In 2010, Bailey Lauerman's creative work for Mission Bean received a Gold Effie Award, and was one of eight finalists for a Grand Effie.
