KANE‘OHE BAY – Bring the whole family down to Windward Mall on Saturday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Hawai’i Coalition for Dad’s 14th Annual Celebrates Fathers event. The annual event has become a traditional way for families to give thanks to fathers, grandfathers, and other father figures and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities. This year mallgoers will enjoy live entertainment from local group, Hiipoi and arts and crafts, balloon artistry by balloon monsoon and a father-child look-alike contest.

One of the highlights of the day is the Father-Child Look-Alike Contest. Starting at 1:00 p.m., Dads and their young doppelgangers will compete for the coveted title. The competition is bound to be fierce as pops and their pint-sized parallels compete for bragging rights and incredible prizes. First place prize for the father-child look-alike contest is a Panasonic Viera® 32" C5 Series HD LCD HDTV ENERGY STAR® television; second place prize will receive a Nintendo Wii; third place will receive a $100 Macy’s gift card; and seven runners up will receive $25 Gyu Kau gift cards. To enter, apply in-person, at Center Court on the day of the event.
