San Diego, CA – Asset Network for Education Worldwide, Inc. (ANEW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, will educate attendees at this year’s CoreNet Global Summit on surplus liquidation solutions that unite social responsibility with environmental sustainability, thus promoting Social Sustainability®. ANEW diverts surplus from landfill by matching it to public organizations such as charities, fire and police agencies, veterans, schools and universities, health providers, senior care centers, youth, women and homeless shelters and others; transforming surplus into service. CoreNet’s Global Summit will take place at the San Diego Convention Center, April 29 – May 1 and attracts top corporate real estate and workplace executives.
ANEW has reimagined the reuse of surplus office furniture, architectural materials and building assets into a practice that benefits the environment, local communities and the bottom line. This ties in perfectly with the theme of this year’s Global Summit to “Re-Imagine: re-ignite, re-orient, re-invent.” ANEW Founder Rose Tourje and Executive Director Lila Grant will be showing corporate real estate decision makers how it is possible to do more with less by partnering with ANEW.
“The goal of ANEW is to cause an evolutionary wave, to change the practice of decommissioning,” says Grant.
ANEW was founded by Rose Tourje, a veteran commercial interior designer who shifted her career focus to “doing what’s right with what’s left” after realizing that great improvements were needed in the field of surplus liquidation.
