[City of Industry, CA] This year marks the sixth consecutive year that Bentley Prince Street has been honored as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. Businesses were divided into three categories based on the size of the company: small (15-24 employees), medium (25-249 employees) and large (250 plus employees). Bentley Prince Street was a nominee in the large company category and was recognized for cultivating a culture of caring that emphasizes both people and the environment. The top 100 workplaces attended an awards luncheon on August 16 at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Los Angeles.

“We value each and every one of our associates and know that they are the secret to our success,” said Anthony Minite, president and CEO of Bentley Prince Street. “Being honored as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles for six years in a row demonstrates that our associates are equally as committed to this company as we are to them.”

All Bentley Prince Street associates know their top strengths and the company invests in its associates’ greatest talents through strengths-based development and coaching programs. Associates also have a voice and give suggestions to make improvements in all areas of the company with Bentley Prince Street’s Quality Utilizing Employee Suggestions and Teamwork (QUEST™) program. In addition, Bentley Prince Street provides associates with many philanthropic opportunities outside of work by partnering with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Tree People and the American Red Cross. On a recent Saturday, over 90 associates and their friends volunteered to pick-up over 400 lbs. of trash at a local beach. Associates share in Bentley Prince Street’s commitment to sustainability in a variety of other ways including taking alternative transportation to work and participating in monthly dumpster dives.

The annual award program aims to honor companies that have created positive work environments and all nominated companies participate in an assessment. The assessment is a two-part process designed to gather information on a participating company. In part one, the employer completes a questionnaire and in part two, employees of the company complete an employee survey. For more information, visit: www.bestplacestoworkla.com.
