Saratoga, CA, October 24, 2010 -- Big Basin Vineyards, the newest wine tasting room in the uptown section of Saratoga, announces the launch of “Wine Before You Dine,” a program aimed at enhancing the wining and dining experience in the historic Village. It begins November 5, in conjunction with restaurant week, which runs from November 3 – 10.
The Big Basin Vineyards tasting room will be open til 7pm to allow visitors the opportunity to enjoy the ambience of Saratoga Village, perhaps browsing a few of the Village’s shops before selecting their dining destination for the evening.
Diners are invited to begin a memorable evening in Saratoga with a visit to the Big Basin tasting room, where they can choose from several flights of wines, or just sit and relax with a glass of wine, accompanied by gourmet pates available for purchase.
A multitude of dining options await in the historic Village, including The Basin, Sent Sovi, La Fondue, Casa de Cobre, The Plumed Horse, Mere Michelle, Ristorante Da Mario, The Mint Leaf and traditional favorite, Bella Saratoga. Sent Sovi offer a special menu as part of Restaurant Week. Ristorante Da Mario will grant free corkage on Big Basin wine purchases.
The “Wine Before You Dine” program will continue through the holidays on Fridays and Saturday nights through the end of December at both Big Basin Vineyards and Cinnabar tasting rooms.
