This evening program is designed to encourage senior adult believers to reach their friends and family with the Gospel. The evening will begin with a buffet-style dinner followed by a worshipful evening of music with The Burchfield Brothers.
July 9-13: Intensive Bible Training Seminar: “The Revelation of Christ” with Walt Kaiser
This intensive Bible training seminar will immerse participants in the magnificence and sovereignty of the Lord and will encourage them to explore the eternal hope unveiled in God’s Word. Guests will take home an informed and inspired understanding of the Bible’s most misunderstood book, Revelation. Walter C. Kaiser Jr., is president emeritus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. An experienced Bible and archaeology teacher, he is an author and former president of the Evangelical Theological Society.
July 13-15: “Staying Upright in an Upside-Down World” with Bob Russell
Participants in this seminar will study the life of Joseph – who grew up in a dysfunctional family and was thrust into a corrupt Egyptian culture – and be inspired to remain faithful to God regardless of the adverse circumstances that may stand in the way. Bob Russell is a Bible teacher, well-known author, and a contributing editor for The Lookout magazine. He is the former pastor of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky.
July 13-15: Studio Seminar: “The Core of Christianity” with Neil Anderson
Wisdom is seeing life from God’s perspective and finding your personal and corporate identity in Christ rather than your natural heritage and religious traditions. Participants in this seminar will learn how to live a Christ-centered life through genuine repentance and faith in God. Neil Anderson is the founder and president emeritus of Freedom in Christ Ministries, a best-selling author, a former pastor and aerospace engineer.
July 19-21: “Victory in Spiritual Warfare” with Tony Evans
In this seminar, participants will discover how the Bible demystifies spiritual warfare and learn to actively use the armor of God, experience His victory, and more fully embrace the life, hope, and purpose God intended. Tony Evans is senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. He is also founder of The Urban Alternative, an author, international radio host, and chaplain for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.
July 21: An Evening at The Cove with Point of Grace
This Evening at The Cove event includes a buffet dinner followed by an uplifting evening of music with Point of Grace. Celebrating 20 years together, Point of Grace has had 27 No. 1 songs, numerous Dove awards, GRAMMY nominations and is one of the Top 10 best-selling artists in the history of contemporary Christian music. The group recently released its 12th record entitled A Thousand Little Things.

July 22: SeniorSalt HymnSing at The Cove
This event is an opportunity for senior adults to gather for an evening of worship and fellowship. Centered around the singing of beloved traditional hymns and choruses, the evening program will also include inspiring Scripture passages and interesting stories behind some of our favorite songs. Participants will enjoy a buffet-style meal before the evening's activities.
July 23-27: Intensive Bible Training Seminar: “Proverbs – God's Guide for Life's Choices” with Woodrow Kroll
The book of Proverbs conveys God’s wisdom in all areas of your life, including marriage and family, friendship, wealth and speech. Participants will discover the wisdom needed for virtually every daily issue. Woodrow Kroll is president and senior Bible teacher for the international media ministry Back to the Bible and the author of more than 50 books.
July 27-29: Studio Seminar: “Apologetics – Questions Every Christian Should Know How to Answer” with Sean McDowell and Alex McFarland
Believers and skeptics alike struggle to answer a number of questions about Christianity: “Can the entire Bible be true?” “Why does God allow evil?” “How can a loving God send people to hell?” Participants in this seminar will discover the role of apologetics in spiritual awakening and get equipped to defend the faith confidently yet respectfully in virtually any situation. Sean McDowell is a Bible teacher, author, and educator. He is the general editor for Apologetics for a New Generation and The Apologetics Study Bible for Students. Alex McFarland is a Bible teacher, author, and nationally syndicated radio host. He formerly served as president of Southern Evangelical Seminary and Veritas Graduate School.

Personal Spiritual Retreats are self-directed opportunities (2 nights/3 days or 3 nights/4 days) for an individual or a couple to experience renewal in the peacefulness of The Cove setting, allowing them to refocus on growing their relationship with God.
