Adoption and foster care stories to be shared through "Our Own Words"

Calvary hosts youth and young adult panel on Sunday, March 20

GOLDEN VALLEY, MINN. - Want the whole story? Go right to the source! Such is the inspiration of Our Own Words, a panel presentation where youth and young adults share their own personal journeys with adoption and foster care. Our Own Words will be held Sunday, March 20, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn. The event is free and open to the public.

The presenters are members of the Minnesota Adoptee Advisory Committee and come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. In addition to sharing their stories, the presenters encourage attendees to come with questions and to join in discussion.

This special presentation of Our Own Words is made possible by Calvary's Adoption Ministry. Our Own Words is a program of the Adoption Support Network of Minnesota, a partnership between HOPE Adoption & Family Services, Oak Park Heights; Children's Home Society & Family Services, St. Paul; and the North American Council on Adoptable Children, St. Paul.
