GOLDEN VALLEY, MINN. - November is National Adoption Month, an annual initiative to raise awareness of adoption and foster-care opportunities and resources. In recognition of National Adoption Month, a special worship service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn. Everyone is welcome.
Sponsored by Calvary’s Adoption Ministry, the service will celebrate adoptive and foster-care families through prayer, song and messages, including a children’s sermon. All parents, children, grandparents, other family members and friends are invited to participate in this service of gratitude and healing.
Calvary’s Adoption Ministry was founded in 2008 to offer relevant education and support to adoptive and foster-care families.
