Central Carolina Community Foundation this month awarded scholarships to some of South Carolina's best and brightest students. Forty-four students received awards totaling $131,277 to attend colleges and universities throughout the country.
"The Foundation is delighted to recognize these dedicated students," said JoAnn Turnquist, President and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation. "Our hope is that these funds will help the recipients achieve their academic goals without the financial burden that accompanies a college education."
Central Carolina Community Foundation manages more than 35 scholarship funds. The purpose and eligibility criteria of each fund are determined according to the recommendations of the scholarship donor.
