Bend, Oregon – The Child Center has leased a 1,970 square foot retail/office property located at 121 NW Greenwood, Suite 103 near downtown. Russell Huntamer and Marlo Devir, brokers with Compass Commercial Real Estate Services represented Mental Health for Children, Inc., dba The Child Center in the lease of the space previously occupied by Whippersnappers photo studio. The lessor, Greenwood Eagles Partners, LLC was also represented by Huntamer.
The Child Center is a non-profit human services agency that offers a continuum of psychiatric, therapeutic and special education programs for children. The organization has been providing services throughout Lane County since 1972. They currently operate an intensive day treatment classroom at the Brown Education Center in Redmond, OR. The new space in Bend continues the organization’s expansion throughout Deschutes County.
“The tenant was under pressure to find space quickly,” said Huntamer. “They were happy to find a space that matched their needs without needing a lot of improvements.”
The Child Center will move into the space effective immediately to begin providing its services to families in Bend.
