Couragent, Inc. announces International Shipping at CHA Winter Show in Anaheim, CA

International shipping of the Flip-Pal mobile scanner to begin January 27, 2012

Couragent, Inc. chose to launch its international shipping of Flip-Pal mobile scanner at the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Winter Show in Anaheim, CA, with shipping beginning on January 27, 2012 to many international countries.

Flip-Pal mobile scanner customers worldwide will be able to browse their flip-pal.com website and directly add items to their shopping cart. Customers will receive real time price quotes in their local currency and the option to include duties and taxes at a guaranteed rate.

The company's flagship product, the Flip-Pal mobile scanner, was formally introduced to the North American market at the CHA trade show in July 2010—where Flip-Pal won the CHA Overall Best Innovation award. The Flip-Pal mobile scanner started shipping to customers in October 2010.

At the CHA Winter show in 2011, Couragent announced their reseller program and have since teamed with Brother International, as well as several resellers and E-tailers to sell the Flip-Pal suite of products. “We now have over 300 affiliates in crafting, scrapbooking, design, genealogy, photography fields and pro-affiliates that greatly contribute to the success of our sales program” said Lisa Milner, Sales and Marketing Director, at Couragent. And, “Please make sure to stop by our booth # 3163 to find out more about our reseller programs.”

The Flip-Pal mobile scanner is for Memory Keepers who want to conveniently and reliably scan photos, images in books and magazines, and works of art so that they can be stored digitally, then shared with family and friends. The battery powered flatbed scanner is about the size of a typical netbook computer. It can scan photos anywhere with no connection to a computer. With the patented flip-and-scan technology, the cover can be removed and the scanner placed face down on top of an old family album, for instance, without having to remove pictures that might be fragile or glued down. The included Flip-Pal EasyStitch software can reassemble multiple 4”x6" scans into a larger image. Scanned images are saved immediately to an SD memory card that can be read by any computer. Batteries, a 2GB SD card and a USB to SD adaptor are included with each unit sold. Orders for the Flip-Pal mobile scanner for $149.99 and accessories can be placed online now at flip-pal.com, legacyfamilytree.com, and amazon.com.

Gordon Nuttall, Founder and CEO of Couragent, who was recently featured in Money Magazine, says, “Our global customers kept asking how they could order our Flip-Pal products and we were determined to make that happen as quickly as possible.
