The Festival, billed as "Celebrating What's New in Books, Gadgets & Innovations" will be held November 5-7 at the Armory Event Hall in Ft. Collins. It is sponsored by a private development and research company, Quid Novi, of Ft. Collins. The company's name is Latin for "That which is new."
The public is invited to the Preview to meet and talk with some of the authors, inventors, and innovators in advance of the November Festival. The event will also feature short presentations and demos of creative new book ideas, surprising new gadgets, and inspiring innovations.
Rocky Mountain Ventures Company CEO Gordon Nuttall will be present to demonstrate the Flip-Pal Mobile Scanner. "It's my pleasure to share our company's story with friends at Quid Novi," Nuttall said. "It's a misnomer, though, to highlight me as the inventor. I have found throughout years as an 'innovation steward' that the best come not from a solitary individual, but through the collaboration of a team who shares a vision of providing a product of value in a way that will enrich lives.
"That is the essence of the Flip-Pal mantra: Enriching lives. Sharing Memories. Anywhere. Anytime" he explained. "At Rocky Mountain Ventures Company, we've co-created the Flip-Pal mobile scanner and each member has contributed a vital part."
This week's preview of the November event is hosted at a Jay Stoner Co. "smart" home, at 4426 Thompson Parkway, Johnstown, CO, one-half mile south of the Centerra Lifestyle Center from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Tours of the home will be available.
The $10 entrance fee includes food and beverages. Attendance is limited to 100 visitors.
