Digitas Wins Big at IAB MIXX and OMMA Awards

Agency Wins 12 Honors During Advertising Week

NEW YORK - Digitas, the leading global integrated brand agency with digital at its core, has added 12 awards to its roster. During the first two nights of Advertising Week, the agency took home two honors from the OMMA Awards, and 10 from IAB MIXX (including three Gold awards). Digitas was recognized for its work with American Express, Buick, Delta, and Miller Lite, with an emphasis on its original online video and brand content campaigns. This is the seventh consecutive year that Digitas has been honored at the MIXX Awards, and the third consecutive year with OMMA.

Digitas Leads Content at Advertising Week

On top of its 12 honors, Digitas is also leading the content of Advertising Week. On Tuesday, the agency helped Sprint launch their new mobile advertising platform, Pinsight Media+, at the MMA Global’s Smarter Mobile Marketing Event. In a panel discussion moderated by Digitas’ Tony Weisman, Sprint Chief Marketing Officer Bill Malloy explained how Pinsight Media+ gives advertisers the power to reach consumers on their mobile device in a more personalized way.

On Thursday, the agency will present a joint session with American Express called “Brand Advocacy for Small Businesses.” On the heels of its 2012 launch in November, the panel will dive into one of the biggest social campaigns of the year: Small Business Saturday. With more than 100 million shoppers, 2.6 million “Likes” for the official Facebook page, and 195,000 supportive tweets, Small Business Saturday is one of the most successful brand advocacy programs ever for small businesses. American Express and Digitas will explore the importance and success of SBS with speakers from Google and one of the participating small businesses, Butterlane.

In addition, other Digitas executives such as Colin Kinsella, John Robinson, and the newly-appointed Adam Shlachter have led discussions at eight other Advertising Week sessions, including panels at OMMA Global, AWNY, and Advertising Week AWE Technology Live.
