Something for Everyone in DMP Booth at ESX

Technology on hand for Residential, Commercial and Central Station Users

Springfield, Missouri — An impressive array of DMP technology will be available for attendees to explore in Booth 317 at ESX 2012 in Nashville on June 27-28. Integrators and Central Station operators can get hands-on experience with the latest DMP products and test drive all of the latest features and functions. The complete line of DMP panels for residential and commercial applications will be available, as well as software products to support and enhance Central Station operations.

“ESX is always an impressive show, with eye-opening products and features everywhere you turn,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “That will be especially true in the DMP booth. The breadth of technology on display will be impressive. Visitors will leave with new ideas about how to provide their customers with stronger security, new features, and greater convenience. They will also take away ideas for new sales and RMR opportunities.”

DMP panels on display include the hard-working XR100/500™ Command Processor. This mainstay for commercial applications can be equipped with the 463G Digital Cellular Communicator to provide UL 864-approved standalone fire communication to Central Stations. The Fire Slave input option of the XR500 is also UL864-listed when used with the DMP463G. With its built-in wireless receiver, the XR500 can also communicate with the DMP 1181 Post Indicator Valve and 1182 Outside Screw & Yoke Switch, the industry’s only wireless PIV valve and OS&Y switch.

The versatile XT Series™ Burglary/Fire/Door Access Panel will also be available. When equipped with the recently-introduced 738Z Z-Wave® Module, the XT enables mobile control of lights, thermostats, door locks, and more. Commercial and residential customers are enthused by the ability to remotely control devices from their smart phones and tablets. Dealers appreciate the potential for add-on sales and RMR for the required cellular service. [MORE]

Customers are also excited by the ability to incorporate video cameras as part of the security system. DMP will show their recently-added video capability, which includes three camera options including wired and wireless models, and both indoor and outdoor models. With the DMP Virtual Keypad™ App, system owners can remotely view and record video from up to six cameras.

Booth visitors can get a firsthand look at the compact XTL™ Wireless Security System. Despite its small size, the XTL is a true, distributed security system, not an easily-disabled all-in-one system. The fast-installing XTL can be used as the keystone of flexible, reliable all-wireless intrusion and fire system.

Central Station operators will want to take a look at the SCS-VR Virtual Receiver. This software-only receiver eliminates the need for additional hardware and its required space, power, maintenance, and cooling. When loaded on your UL-listed server, the SCS-VR provides faster communication with unlimited expansion opportunity.

Central Stations and integrators exploring the possibility of providing customers with managed access control will want to test drive the Entré CS Access & Security Management System Software. Entré opens the door to new services and new recurring revenue.
