There are hundreds of books and textbooks on entrepreneurship, and we can read them all and learn something. However, there is no substitute for learning from “real world” successful entrepreneurs.
Gary Schoeniger and Clifton Taulbert, both successful entrepreneurs, have co-authored Who Owns the Ice House? , a book about eight life lessons from a very successful business owner. Also, they authored an extensive companion on-line course targeted to high school and community college students, featuring “real world” successful entrepreneurs. As Gary says, the paradigm shift is “to go from the sage on the stage, to the guide on the side.” The teacher becomes the facilitator and the entrepreneurs become the teacher.
Mr. Schoeniger, interviewed on Entrepreneurs Club Radio, explained his philosophy, the paradigm shift, and why it’s so important to the American economy.
