Minneapolis, May 4, 2012 – Nashville hockey fans have a lot to smile about these days.  Their beloved Predators are in the playoffs for the seventh time in the last eight seasons.  In addition, the Predators’ season ticket holders recently found out about an exciting new program that will offer them special benefits just for renewing their season ticket package:  www.smashvillerewards.com.

Smashville Rewards is a loyalty initiative designed to reward fans by giving them points based upon their season ticket investment and other related activities.  Fans can earn access to tickets, seat upgrades, merchandise, food and beverage credits, and more.  New rewards and experiences will be added throughout the 2012-2013 season.

With the Smashville Rewards online auction, members can bid points to win access to exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences or highly coveted autographed sports memorabilia.  Also, members have the option of donating points to the Nashville Predators Foundation – the team’s official charity organization devoted to funneling the excitement of professional sports towards the needs of the community.

“The Predators want to maximize fan engagement with every opportunity,” said Lars Ranger, account director at E Group.  “By leveraging our eFan© platform, they are automating benefit distribution to their season ticket holders while engaging fans with meaningful offers and rewards.”

“We are very excited about the opportunity to use the eFan platform as a way to offer more benefits to our season ticket holders,” said Nat Harden, vice president of ticket sales, Nashville Predators.  “I believe that more and more teams are going to start offering benefits this way, because it gives us better control of costs and more flexibility on the benefits we offer.”

The eFan loyalty platform easily integrates into a team’s existing processes and technology platforms – from ticket sales data and turnstiles, to concession stands and retail locations.

“We understand that no franchise has all systems talking to each other,” said Ranger.  “We consolidate the data for our clients so they get a complete view of each fan’s interaction with the team.”
