(Atlanta, GA) Just in time for spring training, Atlanta and the surrounding areas will be hit with a Total Fitness Revolution on March 3rd. Total Fitness Revolution is the newest phenomenon in physical fitness bringing a fresh approach to health and wellness. Under the leadership of program director Lauren Whitmore, Total Fitness Revolution looks to welcome over 300 guests to a brand new West Atlanta location on Saturday, March 3rdfrom 9am to 3pm. Located at 1400 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA, Total Fitness Revolution will offer a day of family fun and entertainment.
The grand opening will boast a live remote with Q100’s Kristen from The Bert Show along with a special guest appearance from TLC’s Chilli. An advocate of physical fitness and practicing a healthy lifestyle, Chilli will be on hand to take pictures, sign autographs and encourage newcomers to commit to a healthier lifestyle. In addition to great promotional giveaways from Q100 and sponsors like Reebok and Vita Coco Water, the day will be full of activities for the entire family. Guests are guaranteed to have a great time while receiving great fitness tips from Whitmore and her staff of trainers. There will be cycling classes, mini boot camp classes, kettlebell, TRX, strength dance and yogasessions, along with face painting and special surprises for little ones during the entire day.
Whitmore’s passion for training stems from her own personal weight loss story and family health struggles. “I believe consistent clean eating and exercise are the true keys to fat loss success,” Whitmore says. She started as a boot camp student several years ago and through consistent boot camp training, Crossfit and proper nutrition, Whitmore lost over 80 pounds. Lauren is not only a certified personal trainer, she is also a certified group fitness instructor, boot camp instructor, certified TRX group suspension trainer, certified Schwinn Cycling instructor, certified Level 1 Crossfit Trainer and a certified Crossfit nutrition expert. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Human Movement/Kinesiology. Whitmore serves on the board of directors as Club Recruitment Director for Ovarian Cycle, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to finding an early detection test for Ovarian Cancer. Whitmore is one of the cycling instructors and Total Fitness Revolution will be one of the training sites for the event in April. Total Fitness Revolution was birthed from Whitmore’s passion for helping others achieve their personal fitness best. “If you’re healthy, that’s a great start to bringing order to the rest of your life,” Whitmore says, “I’m living proof of that.”
After training over 2000 individuals in the past four years, Whitmore is excited about opening her own facility in the elite Mableton neighborhood. “We’re in a great location and look forward to welcoming families. Targeting families is the best way to ensure we are teaching young people the importance of a healthy lifestyle,” Whitmore believes.
