Columbia, S.C. - Family Connection of South Carolina, a parent-to-parent network for families of children with special needs, hosts a number of monthly events and meetings to keep families connected and provide a fun outlet for their children. Family Connection has some exciting and fun events planned this October including:
"Teens ROCK"
Monday, October 3 at Gamecock Lanes starting at 6:00 p.m. For children 12 and up and their parents; address is 817 Broad Street, Sumter SC. Price is $1.50/game, $1.00/shoes
Boy Scout Troop Meeting
Monday, October 3 and 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Family Connection office. This troop strives to accommodate boys and girls with special needs, their siblings, and friends. For more information call (803) 252-0924.
Asthma Connection
Tuesday, October 4 from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Family Connection Offices (2712 Middleburg Dr. Ste 103, Columbia).
Lego Club

Asperger/ADHD Connection
Thursday, October 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Family Connection Offices. Come connect with parents who are raising a child with Asperger's Syndrome or ADHD.
Down Syndrome Playgroup
Saturday, October 8 from 1:00 to 3:30 at the Family Connection Offices. All children affected by Down Syndrome and their siblings are welcome.
Morning Coffee
Thursday, October 13 at 9:00 at Cracker Barrel (Sandhills, NE Columbia). Tell the hostess you are with Family Connection.
