COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Navigator Team of Family Connection of South Carolina, a parent-to-parent network of families of children with special needs, will host a town hall meeting on the community vision for children of all ages with special needs on Thursday, September 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Logan Elementary School (815 Elmwood Avenue).
Family Connection's Richland County Navigator Team is a group of parents whose mission is to improve the community to be more inclusive of all children with special needs.
"The Navigator Team is hosting this town hall meeting to assess the community need on services, activities and trainings geared toward families who have children of all ages with special health care needs or disabilities," said Vanessa Clark, community impact coordinator for Family Connection. "We invite anyone who is interested in sharing their opinion on what they want, what they need or what they think can be improved to better serve children with special needs in Richland County."
