Calling All Camp Tiak Campers

Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Brings Reunions to Eastern Oklahoma Campers

Did you attend Camp Tiak as a Girl Scout or adult Girl Scout with Girl Scouts of Tiak Council, Inc. or any former Girl Scout Council in Southeastern Oklahoma?  In conjunction with the many exciting events planned for the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary, Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is planning a Camp Tiak Reunion!

The Camp Tiak Reunion will be held at the Girl Scout Service Center, 301 West Seneca Street, in McAlester, on Saturday, April 14, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  We will gather at the Gum Tree one more time!  Bring a lawn chair, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and share in the memories created by Girl Scout experiences. A light dinner will be served as we share photographs and memorabilia, sing traditional campfire songs around an evening campfire lit by ceremonial lighting and, of course, S’Mores!

RSVP to Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma by phone 1-800-707-9914 Ext. 218 or by email to gbuehring@gseok.org.  (Registration is free but donations will be accepted at the event to help offset the cost.)

An effort is being made to contact all former Girl Scouts who may have attended Camp Tiak.  Call Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma Council office at 1-800-707-9914 Ext. 218 or send an email to gbuehring@gseok.org with contact information for yourself or a Girl Scout friend that would like to attend the Camp Tiak Reunion.
