The Brooklyn-based band Pimps of Joytime will perform free at the event.

BPARK CITY, UTAH (May 21, 2012) – Park City’s biggest outdoor dinner party returns Saturday, June 23, with the Park City Area Restaurant Association’s fifth annual “Savor the Summit,” featuring free live musical performances headlined by funk band, Pimps of Joytime.

The concerts start at 4 p.m. on Main Street, and they are free and open to the public. Residents and visitors alike, however, are invited to take a seat at the Grande Table, which runs down the center of Historic Main Street and the heart of Park City’s renowned restaurant district. Participating Main Street restaurants will offer their choices of dinner and drinks, with menu pries ranging from $40 to $150 per person. The Pimps of Joytime come to Park City from Brooklyn. Led by frontman and songwriter “Brian J,” the group draws influences from the soul, funk and DJ scenes of New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles. The band, formed in 2005, has collaborated with Cyril and Art Neville of the Neville Brothers, and Roy Ayers. It tours across the country.
