The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its July luncheon on Tuesday, July 10 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Phoenix Country Club, located at 2901 N. Seventh St. in Phoenix.
The topic of this month’s luncheon will be “The Intersection of Higher Education and Economic Vitality.” Speaking will be Rick Myers, chair of the Arizona Board of Regents.

AAED was originally founded in 1974 as the Arizona Association for Industrial Development (AAID). The organization, which was dedicated to expanding the industrial and economic base of Arizona, changed to its current name in 1991 to better reflect its broader mission.
