The Phoenix office of Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International, visited the W.R. Sullivan Elementary School in the Murphy School District on Friday, August 5, to volunteer with clean-up efforts in the school's gym to help prepare for the new school year.
"Our team organized, swept, moved furniture and sweat it out until that gym was spotless and ready for kids," said Grant Thornton partner Stella Shanovich, who rolled up her sleeves with her team members throughout the day.
This initiative is one of the many community outreach programs supported through Grant Thornton C.A.R.E.S. (Community Awareness and Responsibility Expressed through Service), a program created by Grant Thornton designed to demonstrate leadership not only in its industry, but also in its community.
