(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – In honor of the special ladies in our lives – be it moms, grandmoms, sisters or those we hold dear – Sapporo will be dishing up a Mother’s Day menu and opening up the teppanyaki tables in order to tempt the taste buds on Sunday, May 13.
“It’s always important for us to offer something special on days such as these,” said Executive Chef Stephen Stromberg. “Mothers do so much for their children and while taking them out for a nice meal is always special, we wanted to raise the bar with teppanyaki offerings and a menu specifically for them.”
Available from 11 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, moms entrée will include a complimentary sangria, aptly named “Mother’s Little Helper,” the teppanyaki tables – not normally open for lunch – will be available and a special Mother’s Day menu will feature the following items:
Land and Sea Sushi Roll $19
Lobster Tempura, Crab, Cucumber and Lemon, Topped with Seared Filet of Beef, and Soft Shell Crab Tempura
Spicy Chilled Prawn and Sweet Melon Salad $9
Honeydew, Watermelon, and Cantaloupe, with Sweet Onions, English Cucumbers, and Spicy Prawns, tossed in a Honey Lime Vinaigrette
Teppanyaki/Pac Rim Special $32
Jalapeno-Almond Pesto Crusted Alaskan Halibut with Stir-Fried Rice and Fire Roasted Yellow Pepper Cream
Misoyaki Glazed Jumbo Sea Scallops $28
with Spring Asparagus, Sunburst Squash, and Japanese Mushrooms
