The project's general contractor was J.E. Dunn Construction Company.
W.J. Maloney Plumbing was responsible for supplying and installing all of the piping systems within the hospital. This included the sanitary sewer, waste and venting, domestic water, natural gas, storm sewer, reverse osmosis, water softener, condensate, kitchen piping and compressed air piping. In addition to all standard plumbing systems, W.J. Maloney Plumbing also installed the medical gas systems which pertain to medical air, vacuum and oxygen piping and their related equipment for the entire hospital.
W.J. Maloney Plumbing collaborated with J.E. Dunn to utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) on the hospital. This process involves three-dimensional modeling of the building and creates efficiency in installing all of the piping by preventing conflicts with other building and/or utility systems such as the electrical, mechanical and fire prevention.
