Together with Holistic Moms Network sponsors Motherlove Herbal Company (www.motherlove.com), Divine Mama Bars (www.divine-mama.com) and Earth Mama Angel Baby (www.earthmamaangelbaby.com), Holistic Moms will host the World’s Biggest Breastfeeding Twitter Party on July 31st, 2012, at 10 pm EST.
Using the hashtags #breastfeeding and #holisticmoms, participants will discuss the importance of community for breastfeeding success, advocating for Baby Friendly Hospitals in helping to normalize breastfeeding, and, along with the Breastfeeding Task Force of Santa Clara, asking Google to recognize the importance of breastfeeding by featuring a breastfeeding-themed Google Doodle.
“Social media is a powerful medium for normalizing breastfeeding,” said Dr. Massotto, “And the World’s Biggest Breastfeeding Twitter Party also connects parents with the amazing, in real life resources that are out there to support their breastfeeding experience.”
The party is open to all participants on Twitter and information about how to join and participate in the party can be found at http://bit.ly/Nsdu1I.
