Team members will compete in top-tier off-road events across the region and country in disciplines ranging from short track to stage races. On the team’s schedule are the Mountain States Cup regional championship series, select Pro XCT and XTERRA races, the Firecracker 50, the Leadville Trail 100, a full cyclocross schedule and The Breck Epic MTB Stage Race.
The 2011 Honey Stinger/Trek team roster includes riders from the Pro, Category 1 and Category 2 ranks as established by USA Cycling. 2011 Professional/elite riders include; Jen Gersbach, Jaime Brede, Jen Tilley, Caitlyn Vestal, Kelly Magelkey, Patrick Valentine, Dax Massey, Chris Brandt, Dan Matheny, Kelley Cullen, Sari Anderson, Scott McCalmon, Ryan Dorsey, Nate Bird, Ben Portilla, Len Zanni, Max Taam, Colin Osborn, Peter Kalmes and Bryce Gordon. Brede and Valentine were 2010 age-group XTERRA National Champions while Anderson, Taam and Zanni won 24 Hour National Championships in separate categories. Also, Peter Kalmes was Cat 1 25-29 Mountain Bike National Champion.
