Amid the excitement over the launch of the new smartphone, The HTC One S, and Android’s latest OS - Ice Cream Sandwich - a new blog has launched featuring an in-depth and detailed look at both the handset and the OS.
May 10th 2012 - Eoin Walsh, the in-house reviewer at www.htc1s.org, said he set up the site after purchasing the HTC One S and feeling he had to write about the new OS, Android 4.0. ‘I’ve always been a fan of Android, and have been using the system since first purchasing a smartphone and was a big fan of the upgrades made and felt the urge to share my experiences.’ He went on to say that he was encouraged after finding a lack of reviews written by laymen and promised to cover both the high and low points of both phone and software.
The information featured on the site is broken down into two sections, one covering the handset itself, looking at the functionality, ease of use, features like the camera, media player, screen and battery life as well as looking at HTC’s new Sense 4.0 add-on. The second feature is an in-depth look at the operating system itself, covering what works and what doesn’t and may be of interest to anyone considering a Android 4.0 smartphone, whether it’s the One S or not.
All the information can be found at www.htc1s.org.
