The International Interior Design Association welcomes Members to Chicago with an inspiring and essential program lineup at NeoCon 2012. This year IIDA offers a range of events featuring the theme “The Intersection of Culture, Workplace and Social Media.” Explore the new definition of “Social,” including how we work, where we work and who we work with. Throughout the conference, IIDA will provide a platform for discussion of the provocative topics of the day and serve as a resource for conference attendees searching for answers in an unpredictable marketplace.
The IIDA Chapter Leadership Council will be Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10 at IIDA Headquarters. This event includes interactive roundtables and strategy sessions for International Members in leadership roles and is by invitation only. The meetings give Chapter Leaders an opportunity to share knowledge and success stories.
The Annual Meeting will be 12:30 - 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 in Feinberg Theater at the Spertus Center, 610 South Michigan Ave. Members and their guests are invited to this meeting to induct the 2012-2013 International Board of Directors, celebrate the Chapters recognized for excellence, honor the new Members of the College of Fellows and spotlight the Association's past and future endeavors, as well as the premiere of the Educator of the Year Award and IIDA Member of the Year Award winners. The IIDA/ASID Joint Fellows Roundtable will be 2 - 3 p.m. on Monday, June 11 at IIDA Headquarters. Back by popular demand, the prestigious Fellows of two esteemed organizations celebrate the industry and will feature keynote speaker Susan Szenasy, editor of Metropolis magazine. A reception will follow. This event is by invite only.
The IIDA and ASID Legislative Roundtable will be from 12 - 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12 at IIDA Headquarters. Join IIDA and ASID for a lively discussion of current government and regulatory affairs issues facing the Interior Design profession.
