KOHLER, Wis. – Feb. 2, 2012 – The International Builders’ Show in Orlando may be one week away, but Kohler Co., a global leader in kitchen and bath design and technology, is already building its booth at the Orange County Convention Center in preparation for the show’s opening on Feb. 8.
New Product Introductions
“For Kohler, 2011 was full of many exciting and successful product launches, such as the Numi toilet,” says Todd Weber, communications director for product publicity. “And we anticipate the new KOHLER products introduced at the 2012 International Builders’ Show will receive excellent response from industry professionals and consumers alike.”
Among the kitchen and bath products debuting: HydroRail-R Shower Column, a quick and easy shower update that includes a rainhead and handshower; PureFlo, a cable bath drain featuring a modular design and great installation benefits; as well as the Cimarron toilet AquaPiston flush features a canister valve for improved flushing performance; several new kitchen sinks as well as other bath and showering products.
Kohler Generators will also be at IBS 2012 to introduce new products that make it easier than ever for homeowners to control their power, including new generators, models with upgraded features, and new equipment to turn on critical items remotely. Sterling will launch its Ensemble Curve shower, a shower enclosure remodel solution; and Lawson bath, an affordable spa option for the master bath.
In addition to getting hands-on with Kohler’s newest product, visitors can look forward to entertaining and informative presentations from the following industry celebrities:
Monica Pedersen, HGTV Design Star and host of hit TV series “Designed to Sell,” “Bang for Your Buck,” and “HGTV Dream Home,” will serve as emcee and DIY maven, demonstrating how easy it is to install a KOHLER Whitehaven self-trimming apron front kitchen sink.
Ed Del Grande, Master plumber/contractor,GBCI LEED green associate and 30-year industry veteran, is the premier go-to guy for any contracting, plumbing, or home remodeling task. Ed gives hands-on demonstrations ofthe KOHLER Cimarron toilet featuring AquaPiston flushing technology as well as new advances in faucets, showering and standby generators.
DR Mixologist Darryl Robinson, one of the most popular bartenders on the New York mixology scene, invites booth visitors to partake in a celebration of color with a sampling of exotic cocktails. When Darryl isn’t concocting his creations at celebrity events, he’s hosting “Drink Up” on The Cooking Channel.
IBS 2012 Show Homes with Kohler participation
Attendees can see a large selection of KOHLER products in installation by touring the following show homes on convention center property or a short bus ride away:
- Hanley Wood 2012 Builder Concept Homes: Tour three homes to experience one community designed for today’s dominant generations: Baby Boomers, Echo-Boomers, and Gen Xers.
- The 2012 New American Home: Architect and builder Phil Kean pays homage to the ‘60s and ‘70s with a twist on the Classic White Box home, incorporating cutting-edge technology and design trends, as well as green building products.
- Professional Builder 2012 Show Village: Conveniently located in the convention center’s parking lot, the show village’s three homes (Cape Code Technology Home, The Infill Duplex, and the Eco-Home) showcase current trends in the marketplace.
The National Home Builders Association anticipates more than 50,000 attendees will walk the 400,000-square-foot show to see the more than 800 exhibitors.
