SEATTLE, WA (November 30, 2011) – Korrio (korrio.com), developer of the 21st-century sports automation platform Playflow, announced today the addition of five diverse and prestigious Massachusetts youth soccer organizations to its roster of users nationwide.

Aztec Soccer, South End Soccer, Precision Soccer, North Reading Youth Soccer and Lenox Youth Football Club join Massachusetts Youth Soccer in selecting Korrio as their official sports automation platform provider, building impressive momentum for the Seattle-based company in the country’s second largest youth soccer market. The five organizations, which will use Playflow to manage all aspects of online team operations and communications, represent a wide spectrum of youth soccer play statewide, from premier to town-based, nonprofit to camp. Collectively, the signings add thousands of new soccer families to Korrio’s growing network of team, club and league websites across the country.

Playflow, which debuted earlier this year, integrates web, mobile and social networking to provide coaches, administrators, parents and players with a comprehensive and easy-to-use online home. Each user has a customized view into their team and club and receives real-time updates on important schedule, location and carpool information. The platform also streamlines and automates essential administrative tasks, such as registration, payment processing, roster creation and game/practice scheduling.

“We’re incredibly pleased to offer Playflow to more Massachusetts youth soccer organizations, helping them take their online presence and communications to a new level of efficiency and professionalism,” Korrio Founder and CEO Steve Goldman said. “We think this collective group of new users demonstrates how effectively Playflow can address the needs of a real range of organizations – premier or recreational, large or small, urban or rural. Korrio is at the heart of youth soccer transformation, at every level.”

Mike Singleton, Executive Director of Massachusetts Youth Soccer, is also excited more clubs are joining the state’s leading youth soccer organization on Playflow. “As an early adopter of Playflow, we wholeheartedly believe in the platform and have encouraged our members to join us in using it to manage operations,” Singleton said. “It’s truly energizing to see more clubs step up their online game in a time when many families and players are already so technologically savvy. Korrio’s vision of transforming youth sports is becoming a reality every day.”

Mike Kersker, President of Aztec Soccer, agrees. “Playflow’s efficiency and mobility make conducting team business much more efficient for our directors and coaches, giving everyone more time on the field,” he said. “Our goal is to be at the top of our game in everything we do – and offering a unique experience for parents and players is key. Partnering with Korrio will take us into the future, using modern technology and social tools that will fundamentally change the way we do business in the future.”
