Eco-Green St. Patrick's Day at Elate

All Day Event with Local Fare, Organic Cocktails and Free Parking for Hybrid Cars

Chicago (February 2012) — Elate restaurant, (111 W. Huron, 312-202-9900) in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, takes being green seriously. The eco-friendly restaurant, known for its sustainable local cooking, organic wines and spirits and re-purposed interior furnishings, continues its "green" theme for what may as well be Chicago's favorite holiday, St. Patrick's Day.

Guests driving hybrid vehicles to Elate on Saturday, March 17 will enjoy complimentary valet parking. Local fare and organic cocktails will be offered throughout the day, starting with Elate’s fabulously popular brunch service from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Wake up with a freshly brewed cup of "Crop to Cup" coffee, a company that specializes in sustainable coffee from traceable sources and features family farmed and locally roasted products. During brunch, $20 bottomless mimosas, made with fresh squeezed juices, are offered with the purchase of any entrée.

Chef Michael Noll’s seasonal dinner menu (5-10 p.m.) features locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. Two special menu items will be available on St. Patrick’s Day, the "Open Face Reuben" made with crispy rye bread, cabbage puree, herb aioli and house potato ($10) and the "Paddy Wagon" cocktail, made with Square One cucumber organic vodka, green pepper juice, roasted poblano agave and lime juice ($8).

The evening continues with "Late at Elate" (9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.) as DJ Lego spins creative, cutting-edge sounds paired with a live jazz saxophone performer. Elate’s dinner menu is available until 11 p.m. and offers a delicious variety of creative dishes and desserts for Paddy’s Day party-goers. The "lucky" libations include custom, craft cocktails and organic bottle service. The cocktail menu and bottle service list are outlined below.
