NOLS and the Pushroot Community Garden invite you to support the sustainable and local planting initiative in Lander. Friday, June 29, the Lander community will team up for a fun-filled work party to enhance the Pushroot Community Garden for our neighbors and the Lander Care and Share Food Bank.
· Join us from 4 to 9 p.m. at the garden, located at 715 Amoretti in Lander.
· The work will be appropriate for volunteers age 12 and up. Please, no pets.
· Bring sunscreen, a hat, work gloves, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. NOLS and the Community Garden will provide some tools, but feel free to bring your own, as well.
· To show our gratitude, we’ll provide food! Please RSVP to Matt Leslie at matt_leslie@nols.edu
NOLS is not responsible for the safety or actions of the volunteers. The tools we will be using may be sharp and heavy. The work will be done outside and adverse weather conditions may exist. If inclement weather poses problems we will reschedule. The work may be physically strenuous.
