New 9-Hole Disc (Frisbee) Golf Course in Lander

Subheadline

Thanks to the Parks and Rec crew and some community volunteers there is a new 9-Hole Disc (Frisbee) Golf Course in Lander.

The Course is in McManus Park, with the first tee starting just to the left of the foot bridge (Pin is  across the river) with play continuing in a clockwise fashion around the perimeter of the park.  Play is free and open to the public during Park hours.

Disc Golf is just what it sounds like, a golf-like game played with frisbee discs instead of balls. Score is kept the same, with a lower score being better.

Official Disc Golf discs are available for purchase at Gannet Peak Sports in Lander and at the CWC bookstore in Riverton, but feel free to try it with a regular frisbee if you just want to see how it plays.

Once again thanks to the Parks and Rec crew as well as all the volunteers that helped make it happen.  A pretty cool addition to Lander.
