Herndon, Virginia; March 13, 2012: Mascot Books announces the release of Christopher Under the Moonlight, an inspirational children’s book written by Jennifer Doswell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Christopher Under the Moonlight is about Christopher, a little boy who is shy and a little jumpy. Sometimes he thinks his belly is too chubby. One night, while taking a swim, Christopher is startled by the animals that live in his backyard. He learns that these animals are not dangerous and they become Christopher’s new friends. With the help of his friends, Christopher gains courage and overcomes his shyness.
Jennifer Doswell loves helping people through her Clinical Social Worker position. She became inspired to write this book in order to reach a larger audience with the knowledge that all people benefit from support and encouragement. “I wrote this book for young people everywhere, and older ones too, who struggle with shyness and feeling inadequate,” said Doswell. Currently, she is working on a second book about a charming little girl who tends to get distracted easily. It will surely prove to be as inspirational as Christopher Under the Moonlight.
Jennifer Doswell published this unique book through the Mascot Books Author Program. The Mascot Books Author Program allows prospective authors to publish their children’s books in a way that combines the freedom of self-publishing with all the support a publishing industry leader has to offer.
