Herndon, Virginia; February 14, 2012: Mascot Books announces the release of Spot the Superdot, a children’s book written and illustrated by Mattie Samms, beloved brother and uncle.

Learning can be fun! Friendly superhero Spot the Superdot proves this when he embarks upon an educational adventure and learns about all animals and shapes. Spot goes in search of the culprit responsible for the flowers missing from the zoo. With a cast of unforgettable characters and set in a rhyming format, this book makes for an enjoyable addition to any child’s collection.

A portion of the proceeds from Spot the Superdot will be donated to The Haven of Rest Ministries, a private social service organization in Northeast Ohio that glorifies God through a Christ-Centered outreach that tends to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all.

Mattie Samms published his unique book through the Mascot Books Author Program. The Mascot Books Author Program allows prospective authors to publish their children’s books in a way that combines the freedom of self-publishing with all the support a publishing industry leader has to offer.
