DALLAS, Feb. 21, 2012 – The 2012 Dallas ADDY Awards show turned out to be a night full of unexpected wins for integrated marketing agency M/C/C. The agency received praise for excellence in creative advertising from its Dallas peers and took home three ADDY awards, including a coveted gold ADDY award for its work on client FairLease’s interactive media banner.
Out of 450 entries, M/C/C was one of only 16 agencies to win the prestigious gold ADDY award. The agency’s award-winning piece for FairLease, a banner campaign titled, “Snap, Point and Wink,” was deemed to be one of the best creative advertising pieces in its category. The agency also received recognition for its creative design work on FairLease’s “Oaths” posters, which earned a bronze ADDY award.
Both the gold and bronze ADDY awards affirm M/C/C’s creative and marketing work on FairLease’s brand. The Dallas-based auto leasing company’s marketing campaign accurately reflects its mission – to offer car shoppers all the information and the power to make the right choices. The gold banner campaign will advance to the American Advertising Federation (AAF) District 10 regional ADDY competition, where it will compete for a chance to go to the national ADDYs.

The agency also took home a bronze ADDY award for its own holiday video e-card, Snow-motion. The piece was entered in the “Advertising Industry Self Promotion: Interactive” category, which is known as one of the most difficult categories to win. The agency was one of only two in Dallas to take home an ADDY award in this category.

There was also an overall trend that included an increase in non-traditional entries, grass roots initiatives and an emphasis on innovation.
