Christine Merrifield Appointed President, Video Investment & Activation, MediaVest

Overseeing Investment Across Broadband, Broadcast, Cable, Local, OOH

January 6, 2012 – New York, NY- Christine Merrifield is elevated to President, Video Investment and Activation, MediaVest USA, effective immediately, as announced by Bill Tucker, CEO, MediaVest.  In this role, Merrifield will oversee all aspects of the unit spanning video investment and activation across broadband, broadcast, cable, local and out-of-home, as well as investment operations. She will also continue to serve on the agency’s Executive Team. Merrifield will report to Tucker in her new post. She replaces Donna Speciale who is pursuing an opportunity with Turner Broadcasting.

Merrifield was previously EVP, Director of Video Investment & Activation at MediaVest, leading the unit, including oversight of Upfront and Scatter negotiations across the agency’s roster.

Merrifield joined MediaVest in 2004, ascending to EVP, Director of Video Investment & Activation, in 2009. Prior, she was with Mediacom leading investment for GlaxoSmithKline. Earlier in her career, she served as part of Warner Brothers Syndication’s sales organization. Merrifield started in the industry at Grey Advertising in 1988.
