Andre Howell, Vice President of Operations, MFHA

Andre Howell is vice president of operations for The Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA). He is responsible for managing the association’s day-to-day operations, growing the membership base and network, and executing its Showcase of the Stars™ career exploration events.

Before entering the nonprofit realm, Andre held a variety of high-level operational and marketing positions at the Allstate Insurance Company, MetLife, Inc., and the Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. He is responsible for having established several successful multicultural marketing initiatives that resulted in more than $8 million dollars in new business from people of color.

Howell’s multicultural expertise includes the publication of the highly acclaimed Hispanic Consumer Marketing guide, which earned the coveted MarCom award as best collateral for understanding the buying habits of Hispanic insurance consumers by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals. He also successfully appointed and hired more than 500 insurance agents and agencies in 26 states.

Before joining MFHA, Howell co-owned A. Williams-Howell Enterprise, LLC, a marketing and consulting business. Additionally, he received awards for community service from The King’s College, National Urban League, 100 Black Men of America, and Who’s Who of America.

Howell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Economics from The King’s College in New York, N.Y. In addition, he holds a Master of Public Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, P.A.
