This new and improved model, operates automaticaly via a single push button, has a reduced cycle time of just 15 seconds; making it the fastest cavity degausser available in the market place. Actual Degauss time is less than one second. This NSA EPL listed degausser is an ideal device for fast and secure degaussing of Hard Disk Drives (including Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded - PMR Drives as well as Longitudinal Magnetic Recorded - LMR Drives), back-up tapes and other magnetic media containing confidential or highly sensitive information. Table top size makes it perfectly suited for field operation, in office environments or in most data-centers and provides noiseless operation! The degaussing process generates ZERO NOISE. The P3R Mag EraSURE is fast, quiet, reliable and totally automatic. Rare Earth Permanent Fixed Magnets generate no heat so the P3R can be used continuously. Listed on the most current NSA Degausser EVALUATED PRODUCT LIST (EPL). Meets DoD requirements for degaussing all magnetically recorded data on hard disk up to 5,000 Oe and tape up to 2,800 Oe (including Perpendicular - PMR and Longitudinal - LMR Magnetic Recorded Media), Factory tested and passed at 6,000 Oe, Comes standard with ergonomically designed, height adjustable, portable workbench complete with drive staging area, NSA EPL Listed for the degaussing of both Pependicular Magnetic Recorded Media (PMR) and Longitudinal Magnetic Recorded (LMR) Hard Drives up to 5,000 Oe.
