The Model SEM 3140P is a CROSS CUT shredder that is ideal for office and/or departmental use. More secure than a strip cut shredder, the 3140P produces a 5/32" x 1 9/16" particle size. The system features auto start/stop and a wide 16" feed opening. It has additional manual start/stop/reverse buttons; modern visual display with "ready to operate" indicator; automatic reverse in case of paper jams; bag full and door open shut off; electrically secured door and a solid steel cutting head. The unit also includes a SPS System (Safety Protection System). The SPS is an electronically controlled saftey flap in the feed opening as an additional safety feature to help prevent industrial accidents and/or overfeeding.
